A funky relaxed waterfront bistro located on the south end of Pinney’s Beach. Freshly grilled whole snapper sizzles in a lively atmosphere, especially on a Thursday, karaoke night which is held right on the beach under the stars.
With its decor of boats and fishing scenes, Papa Hemingway would surely have made this beach bar his local during his stay in Nevis. Mark Roberts trained at the deluxe Montpelier but decided to go it on his own at this jumping eatery on the water. Mark even catches some of the fish he serves himself. Karaoke rules on Thursday night, so Double Deuce can also become your fun spot for the whole evening. The location is half a mile down Pinney’s Beach from the Four Seasons. The day’s specials are posted on a blackboard menu and are likely to feature line-caught wahoo and snapper. Locals claim the cook’s cheeseburger is the best in the southern Caribbean: It’s a half-pound of organic beef buried under a landslide of cheddar and served with a secret pineapple-and-wild-honey sauce.
Double Deuce is known for its fresh locally caught fish which includesMahi Mahi, Wahoo, Red Snapper, Yellow Fin Tuna and local Lobster. Also we serve black angus beef steaks, barbecued chicken, tasty BBQ pork ribs, and the famous double deuce organic 8oz beef burger. We also serve pumpkin coconut soup and ginger garlic shrimp.
All main courses served with either rice and beans, scallop potatoes or English potato chips.
To finish we have homemade ginger cake, Ice cream, good tasting coffee and English Tea.
We stock a selection of wines from around the world. We have rum punch known as the Double Deuce Stinger. Our bar staff can mix many exotic cocktails to order as requested. We are also known for having the coldest Caribs on the Island!!
