St. George’s Anglican Church was built on the island of Nevis is 1670 and has undergone reconstruction several times due to earthquake damage. This quaint little church rests amongst the backdrop of the towering Nevis Peak and is adorned with a bright red roof. The rural setting makes for wonderful photographs of this religious building which is still in use today.
Inside, the church’s design is a study in simplistic beautiful. Light brown natural stone walls are crowned with a peaked white wood ceiling and unadorned wooden pews.
St. George’s Anglican is located outside of the capital of Charlestown as you head to Gingerland, Nevis.
